Job Title: Java Tech Lead/Software Architect

Location: Southend

Duration: 6 months

The Technical / Software Architect is the point of contact for technical & software architecture and design queries/decisions.

Tasks:

* Technical Support and lead to developers and technical oversight

* Prepare Sprints and populate backlog in conjunction with Scrum master

* Elaborate and clarify technical issues on business features and solution designs (preferably in a Architecture role)

* Technical Gap analysis on solution designs (preferably in a Architecture role)

* Low level technical design (preferably in a Architecture role)

* Support to BA, Scrum Master, Central Architectural function as needed

Skills & Technologies:

* Java 8 and 11

* Spring Framework

* Spring Boot building microservices

* Java experience (Ideally upto date with latest version of Java minimum java 8 plus real experience in Spring and microservices)

* Development experience (should've had a senior lead java developer role at least 3 years)

* Microservices experience very useful

* Interdisciplinary experience very useful

* Agile experience (Scrum and Kanban)

* Familiarity with continuous integration, automated tests, iterative delivery

* Full development lifecycle experience
