Role: 2nd line supportLocation: LeedsLength: 6 months initial (18 month scope)Start date: ASAPRate: £175-225IR35: Outside My client is currently going through a big migration project. As part of this project they are currently hiring for 2 second line support engineers to come and assist with this ongoing work, you will join a team of 6 employees to help see the migration through. Duties of the role include: Provide Level II support for internal customer problem ticket resolution and local IT infrastructure troubleshooting.Perform hardware integration and software installations on industry standard PC clients to including Windows 7/10 operating system, desktop applications and peripheral devices.Maintenance of PC deployment documentation and tracking inventory.Work with other European teams to support infrastructure hardware in branch offices and Participate - on request - in architecture initiatives and projects.Regular travel to various European destinations to assist in PC rollouts, office hardware/software upgrades, event support, maintenance and other customer related duties.Build imagines (1809 Microsoft build) deploying across the entire estate My client is a well-respected company operating within the electronics space, after recently been acquired by a larger firm they are going through a huge systems transformation project across all departments of the business. This includes migrating existing systems and ensuring all runs smoothly during the process. Essential skills: PC/desktop trouble shooting skills a mustProficiency in the installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows7/10, Server 2008/12, MFPs, standard office automation and applications such as Office 2K13/2K16.Advanced knowledge in AD and Good knowledge in Windows client management tools.In depth knowledge of Intel based PC systems incl. integration and configuration and printers.Analytical thinking, good communicator, organization skills and team-playerExcellent customer service attitude and Communication skills required Desirable skills: Microsoft Certification and itIL foundation are a plus.Mcafee EPO and antivirus would be advantageous.Additional European languages are a bonus If this role looks suitable for yourself please send over you CV and I will be in touch!
