ISO/ RCI Compliance Officer

EllisKnight are partnered with a fantastic global business and an opportunity has arisen for an ISO/ RCI Compliance Manager to join them based in their European Head Office in Reading.

Your main role will be to work with the Data Protection Manager/ISO Officer and RCI Manager, Finance Director to implement Privacy Solutions/ISO policy documentation as well as undertake finance projects.

Main DutiesEnsure that all employees are aware of and complies with Data Protection law, best practice and any case precedents, interpreting law changes into practical policies and procedures.Be the first point of contact for enquiries from staffUndertake proactive work and enforcement measures that promote good DP working practices and compliance with GDPR requirementsConduct regular security audits to ensure compliance and address potential problemsGive advice on the impact of data protection effortsMaintain continued compliance and certification for the ISO suiteEnsure organisational compliance, and conformance with Data protection PrinciplesRegulation (GDPR), and ensure it is reviewed on an annual basisAssist with investigations into complaints about breaches of the act and undertake reporting/remedial action as required. Maintain a log of any incidents and remedial recommendations and actionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders. Clearly communicate information to stakeholders.Produce reports for senior management team as required

Personal Specification Qualified in Data Protection and GDPR specialistReviewing and analysing legislation and translating it into policies and proceduresExtensive experience in stakeholder engagement and negotiationsExtensive experience in business managementSubstantial experience reviewing legislation and translating into policies
