DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes/Cloud/AWS/Azure/Jenkins/CI/CDSTEVENAGE
CHANCE TO LEARN OPENSHIFT PLATFORM SKILLS
£55k - £65k + benefits
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, with experience using Cloud based technologies, Docker and Kubernetes to join our Cloud practice and help our customers realise their platform transformations within hybrid cloud environments.
You will have experience working within Cloud based environments, such as AWS and Azure and have previously deployed and configured container platforms.
You will be given the opportunity to learn the Red Hat OpenShift container platform and be asked to design and develop CI/CD pipelines in OpenShift.
You do not need to have exposure to OpenShift to qualify for this role as full training will be given, but the following skills are mandatory for the position:
- Knowledge of Linux
- Container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Automation technologies, such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
As the first Platform Engineer within the business, you can expect to be kept very busy, both with our own internal systems, but also our client base across the UK. You can expect to pick up many new skills and clear career progression here; all you need to bring is your current skills and enthusiasm to learn new tech.
