Java Developer (OO /SQL /Web)An innovative tech company who specialise in software within the logistics, procurement and supply industry is seeking a Java Developer to join their existing team. They are constantly developing their leading enterprise software to meet the demands of their global clients. Due to their growth and success, they require someone to join their existing team. The ideal candidate is likely to have programming skills within Java or similar OO (Object Oriented) language. You will have worked with Web Service Concepts such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and worked with Source Code Management software such as GIT/SVN on a daily basis. You will ideally have previously worked in an Agile and Test-Driven Development environment. Previous commercial experience is essential, this role suiting either an experienced Java Developer or a Junior developer with sound experience looking to take the next step in their career.We are looking for the following attributes in our search for the right candidate: '€¢A logical, clear-headed thinker.'€¢BSc or greater in Computer Science or relevant field or a demonstrable equivalent of commercial experience '€¢Experience of working hands on with Java application on any platform'€¢Excellent understanding of software design and development concepts '€¢Web Service Concepts such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML'€¢Experience of Source Code Management software such as GIT/SVN'€¢Strong problem-solving skills.'€¢Good communication skills.
This is a full time, permanent position, working in a friendly team environment within a 30 minute commute from Chester, Queensferry, Colwyn Bay, Conwy, Rhyl.
