However as popularity rises so does risk, 67% of organisation are using public cloud to store sensitive data.This organisation is the UK leader in delivering cloud based solutions, you have the opportunity to join them and as a Cloud Reliability Engineer. This role requires a SME technical expert in DevOps and Cloud Engineering along with the ability to mentor other members of the team in IAC, Automation and Stakeholder management. In terms of the finer details, the role will be focused on working closely with the end customer to understand their needs and deliver ground breaking E2E solutions. In this case, the client is a UK leading bank as they leverage both GCP and AWS. In addition you will work on CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Architecture, Containers, Automation and Configuration Management.Rather than just regurgitate the job description, my client has highlighted 3 key skill areas they are looking for.Cloud - SME knowledge of either GCP or AWS is beneficial. Along with familiarity with cloud network patterns such as subnets, peering and VPC. CI/CD - Experience in cloud automation through the use of CI/CD pipelines is essential. Tooling such as Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, K8's and Ansible are preferable. However if you are accustomed to others, get int touch!Stakeholder Management - Due to the nature of this role working on a multi-million pound project, proven stakeholder management experience is required.
