Reed Professional Services (RPS) has engaged with one of the key Central Government departments to work on a large and complex internal infrastructure project. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for IT Procurement Consultant to join our team of experts based in Croydon to facilitate the successful PPM delivery and support. Who will you be working for? RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in minds and can scale as in line with customer needs. What will you be doing? You will be joining our RPS's delivery team as an IT Procurement Consultant to work alongside senior stakeholders and highly skilled engineering teams, to support delivery management of a number of procurement projects to ensure they meet the requirements, meet specific deadlines and achieve value for money. This will target the strategic Networks procurement that needs undertaking across the next financial year, whilst supporting a plethora of other smaller but still significant procurements as well. Below are the key skills that we are looking for in this IT Procurement Consultant; Experience: Demonstrable experience of curating and managing large scale procurement projects within a telco or infrastructure environment within a Central Government Function and highly regulated environments. Skills: Possess an excellent understanding of end-to-end tendering process with the ability to manage the large and complex network procurement to meet time, cost and quality. Exceptional stakeholder management experience is necessary for the role.
