Senior ICT Technician / IT Support Engineer with excellent diagnosis and fault-finding skills, knowledge of Windows 7 and 10, server hardware and Microsoft Office (including 365) is required for an outstanding Independent School based in Liverpool, Merseyside, North West England.
SALARY: £17,244 to £23,868 per annum
LOCATION: Liverpool, Merseyside, North West England
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior ICT Technician / IT Support Engineer with excellent diagnosis and fault-finding skills, knowledge of Windows 7 and 10, server hardware and Microsoft Office (including 365).
Working as the Senior ICT Technician / IT Support Engineer you will support the operation of the School's IT infrastructure with responsibility for supporting a wide range of hardware and software solutions in the teaching and learning environments.
As the Senior ICT Technician / IT Support Engineer your duties will include planning and assisting with projects, providing a customer service focused IT support and training to staff and students. You will be responsible for ensuring the ICT Helpdesk is fully utilised to track and plan jobs and to effectively manage projects.
The successful candidate will have experience of supporting a large PC infrastructure and have or be working towards a Microsoft Certification or equivalent.
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Senior ICT Technician / IT Support Engineer you will ideally have the following skills:
Previous experience in a similar role
Microsoft Certification or equivalent - or working towards
Previous experience of supporting a large PC infrastructure
Skilled at diagnosis and fault finding
Excellent knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft Office (including 365)
PC and Server hardware experience
Good communication skills
Able to work on initiative as well as part of a team
Good organisation skills
