Service Desk Analyst

Location : Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £22,000 - £23,000

Type: Permanent

Reed Technology are working with a global company based in Newcastle to recruit a Service Desk Analyst to join their growing team. The key focus of the team is to deliver a world class IT service to the business.

Key Duties:

  • Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from staff regarding IT issues and queries.
  • 1st / 2nd line support
  • Handling the majority of telephone calls made to the desk.

About You:

  • You will need experience of working as either 1st of 2nd line in a busy professional services environment, supporting 2000+ customers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and understand the customers' requirements, to be able to deliver the right solution to meet their 'needs' rather than their 'wants'.
  • Process driven, with the ability to focus on the end result.

Experience required of supporting the following:

  • Microsoft Windows 7
  • Microsoft Office 2010 or above
  • Active Directory
  • Apple products

You may have worked in one of the following roles: Service Desk Analyst, Helpdesk Advisor, 1st Line Support, 2nd Line Support, IT Technician, IT Engineer, Technical Support, IT Support.
