Technical Project Manager - Software Development, Cloud, GCP

Location: West London We are actively looking to secure a Technical Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients. The Role Our client is forming a new team building technologies to optimise how they connect with their customers using the content they love. To help do that the client are looking to hire a Technical Project Manager to help manage a range of technology projects As a Technical Project Manager within the Discovery & AI function you will be responsible for the planning and tracking of services used by many of our client's customers across a range of consumer devices, primarily around how we connect those customers to content. Responsibilities:Working closely with Product managers and Technical specialists within the team, create a milestone plan for several servicesWork closely with other Technology teams to produce a coherent E2E planDefine a deployment strategy for each serviceTrack delivery status, and provide reports to stakeholders, usually the Product and Technology teamsSuggest corrective actions where necessaryHelp Triage defects coming from test, trials and A/B testing activitiesBuild collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across business, operational and delivery areas as a 'trusted advisor'

Key Skills:A pragmatic result - and delivery- oriented mindset, with a track record of having deployed technology to customers at scaleExperience of Project managing cloud deployments in AWS or GCP would be highly beneficialExperience of delivery software services and products using different methodologies, mainly AgileExperience in quickly grasping technical concepts in both familiar and unfamiliar domainsThe ability to multi-task and run a portfolio of projects at different stages of the lifecycleSkills as a brilliant communicator and listener, who can translate messages and simplify and summarise problems in a straightforward and succinct manner.A flexible approach and be able to adapt your style and methods to get the best out of the business in delivering a programme.Skills to be open and transparent in everything that you do.
