Our client Ennovision is looking for a seasoned Automation test engineer to work on a cutting edge corporate bond e-trading platform. An opportunity for an enthusiastic test engineer to join the team working on a core trading system. 

Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for:

Supporting offshore test team members for project delivery.

Designing test suites for automation in order to validate functional and non-functional requirements.

Maintaining and improving existing regression test suites

Planning test phases and creating Test Strategy documents

Keeping up to date with new developments and strategies within their area and the general IT marketplace.

Offering ideas, advice and support with regard to improvement initiatives within the team.

To do what is necessary to ensure all team tasks are completed on schedule.

Working closely with Product Owners, Developers and Client Support staff.

Knowledge/Experience

2+ experience in the financial sector.

5+ automated testing experience.

Experience using Selenium Webdriver with Java to create frameworks is essential

Experience with Cucumber and Junit

Experience working with offshore teams.

Exposure to systems developed on various platforms (Windows and Linux).

Experience of Atlassian Jira would be an advantage but is not essential.

ISEB certification to at least Foundation level.

Agile Ways of Working, preferably SAFe frameworks.

Skills/Personal Requirements

Communication & collaboration are paramount to the cross-functional scrum operating effectively

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Strong SQL knowledge with SQL Server or Oracle experience.

Strong Java skills

Candidates with the right skills and experience but requiring sponsorship will be considered for the role.
