A Midlands based client of mine in the entertainment and leisure industry is looking to recruit a digital designer with a strong UX background to bolster their digital team, based in Wolverhampton.Working alongside a frontend developer, You will be involved in executing design across 30 websites with UX and customer journey at the top of your priority list. You will be a competent designer with a good understanding of Agile workflows.Client DetailsThe client are a national brand in the entertainment and leisure industry based in Wolverhampton, with multiple sites across the UK.Although not on a regular basis, the Digital team travel across to other smaller sites to engage with colleagues, provide resources and support.DescriptionYou will be responsible for:Reviewing current design executions across a large range of websites and seek improvementsIntroducing animations, responsive design and content, visual designs and prototypingImproving CMS and reviewing effectiveness of the UXWorking closely with the frontend developer on iterative designLeading the creative development for existing and emerging brand projectsProfileThe successful candidate will have:(Ideally) 2-3 years' inhouse or agency UX and digital design experienceStrong creative design skills with a background in digital and brand developmentExperience using Adobe Design Suite, Invision and SketchExperience of delivering responsive, user-focused web solutionsStrong grasp of Agile workflows and methodologiesEthos of providing iterative designJob OfferIn return, you will receive:A salary of up to £35,000 DOE22 days (rising to 28 through regular service increments) plus bank and public holidaysCompany pension scheme and life assurance schemeDiscretionary bonus scheme paid on an annual basisCompany sick pay schemeEye tests and subsidy for glasses available to display screen usersMobile phoneProfessional development schemesFree parking onsiteCycle to work schemeEmployee Assistance scheme
