Senior Solution Architect (Insurance) Financial Services, Reinsurance, Insurance, Solutions Architecture, Cloud Transformation, Global ITCity of London - Permanent - £110,000 - £120,000 (plus benefits)

It operates in all lines of insurance, with more than 42,000 employees throughout the world.Overview:As a Senior Solutions Architect, will play a vital and active part in technically scoping, operationally running and being accountable for the success of global IT projects, with a focus on the UK.You will own the production of the technical requirements, regional project and program level status reporting, project financials reporting, resource management, monitoring of project budgets and deliverables, etc and act with the delegated authority of global leadership.

Role Responsibilities:Build strong relationships with various business-side executives to ensure projects and programs align to the region's business objectives.Build strong relationships with various project and program leads to ensure timely and accurate initiative tracking.Ability to triage all levels of technical support issues to appropriate teams - with an intention to own and see throughBuild regional strategies and project pipelines.Lead all of the regional initiatives.Responsible for architectural design, issues and solutions considerations; apply industry best practices to create scalable and secure solutions that have superior technical performance.Responsible for product architectural design, issues and solutions considerations.Designing of complex component architectures.Lead the design of application architectures.Maintenance of component architecture.Designing of templates and complex solution components for software and platform engineers.Plan resources and build the regional delivery team to be able to deliver all in-flight and pipeline initiatives.Actively lead the recruitment of a world-class delivery team.Owner of the regional initiative and financials reporting.Feed into the various enterprise-wide reporting requirements.Highlight any gaps within budget or resources required for the pipeline. Experience required:Senior leadership abilities including building, managing and developing teams.Excellent technical ability - Azure cloudExcellent communication and relationship building skills.Assertive, highly personable and professional.Ability to influence and build trust.Strategic thinking.Ability to build world class teams and delegate tasks as appropriate.High attention to detail and quality of output.Willingness to travel within the region if required, and potentially internationally.Clear and concise reporting and communication tendencies.Excellent people management skills.World class execution abilities.
