Our client is looking to hire a solutions architect with heavy exposure to the AWS cloud platform to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. Remote work is available.

Role & ResponsibilitiesDeveloping new and updating existing architecture designsManaging business requirements and finding concrete resultsCreating systems to meet functional and non-functional infrastructure requirementsContribute to improve the development of AWS standards, best practices and organisational capability.AWS serverless services (Lambda, API GW, SNS, SQS, and Dynamo DB).AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, and ElastiCache)Background in application development and experience in at least one high level programming languageHands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of businessInfrastructure automation through DevOps scriptingConfiguration management (Cloud formation/puppet/teraform
