A client of Spring Technologies are currently recruiting for a Senior Test Analyst

There are 2 roles, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow on an initial 6 month contract with the option to extend.

Essential Experience

*Passionate about testing and software development;

*Considerable testing experience;

*Excellent analytical skills;

*Understanding of structured test methods and processes;

*Excellent team worker - especially with development and business;

*Effective and concise communication;

*Challenging and enquiring mind;

*Attention to detail and persistence;

*Understanding of common software failures and faults;

*Ability to effectively prioritize work and manage stress;

*Understanding of risk based approach to testing;

*Understanding of value of test automation in the Agile environments;

*Working knowledge of at least one programming language;

*Ability to build and maintain or design and drive test automation framework;

*Understanding of database concept and ability to write basic SQL and MongoDb queries;

*Understanding of non-functional aspects of web application testing - such as UI, Accessibility, Security and Performance;

*Experience working in the Agile projects;

*Experience using BDD approach to software development.

Desirable Experience

*JIRA;

*Linux;

*CI/CD Jenkins, build pipelines;

*Selenium WebDriver with one or more programming languages
