For a client of ours in the semiconductor industry we are looking for a Senior Project manager. Start: ASAPLocation: Gelderland regionDuration: 12 months (+ possible extensions)Language: English Project description: The R&D department is located in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Here Logic IC's are developed, tested, qualified and released for production. The products are used in a wide range of applications, like automotive, mobile, whitegoods and industrial. The Logic product portfolio contains standard IC's like gates, drivers, flip-flops, voltage translators and switches, as well as customer specific IC's like LED-drivers, comparators and interfaces. Often their products are used as 'glue Logic', to fix errors in a design or application. In this way their products have been used in several iPhone generations for instance. But also in a lot of automotive applications. seniority: 10 years (Senior) Tasks: - Create project charter and initial plan together with Product Management and Sponsor- Organize project setup and lead assigned team for successful execution of project- Define deliverables, resource needs and align with key stakeholders- Prepare Gates/Milestones and report status in Project Review Board- Involve in VRU team for successful implementation of project deliverables- Projects will focus on development and release of new analog IC's and packages, in particular switches and translators- Owns assigned program roadmap, consolidating required information for assigned program portfolio Profile:- Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics- Solid knowledge on Semiconductor technology in Diffusion, Assembly and Test area- Good understanding of analog IC design and functionality- Show initiative, take ownership and have an entrepreneurial attitude- Ability to manage complex technical problems- Customer and high quality oriented- Experienced in project management (PMP/PMI/Prince2)- Fluent in spoken and written English- Good knowledge on MS-Office tools, like MS-Project with strong analytical skills Michael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
