Lead Data Scientist - up to £80,000 - Luton My client based in Luton is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join their Data Science practice. Each team has their own responsibilities with Data, your role will be to collaborate with the rest of the teams to develop Data Science solutions to solve business problems. You will report directly to the Head of Data science and be responsible for leading a team and develop new AI solutions which will transform the company into a leader in its sector. The office is in Luton, if you want to work for an established company but avoid commuting in the busy rush hour to central London and work in a quieter area then this role is definitely to consider! In terms of responsibilities you will:Be responsible for the delivery of the Data Science projects - you will be responsible for the whole end to end processHave knowledge of projects' lifecycle and be able to utilise your Data Science knowledge to make smart decisions to make sure the projects are properly deliveredLead your team to make sure the best Data Science practices are being applied and mentoring junior team membersConstantly demonstrate your passion for Data Science and become and expert in what you do to drive both the team and the business forward The client is looking for someone who wants to get their hands dirty and get involved in all the aspects of their projects, someone who takes pride in leading a team and training junior team members to make sure they become successful. You will be responsible for hiring Data Scientists for your team and contribute to the company's growth. Ideally the client would like to see your grow within the company, so they want to get someone on board who's committed to becoming a specialist in the Data Science area and who wants to be responsible for building long lasting teams and practices.
