Data Analyst - Cooperate or Investment BankingLocation: Glasgow We are actively looking to secure a Data Analyst to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.Experis Consultancy is a Global entity with a well-established team with over 1000 consultants on assignment across 20 clients globally. We are passionate about training, technology and career development.Key AccountabilitiesWork closely with subject matter experts within business, technology and operations functions to ensure identification and resolution of data quality issuesWork alongside Data Office teams to ensure consistency of approach to front-to-back lineageSupport data governance and quality assurance activitiesProvide project updates and report on progress on data quality and control remediation activities including ad-hoc data analysis to support project deliverablesEssential Skills/Basic Qualifications:Understanding of Reference Data within banking industry and how it is applied to large scale migration projectsStrong understanding of Data Management concepts and relevant experience in data governance projectsSatisfy existing controls and identify opportunity to enhance and improve these controlsException Management - be able to confidently and assuredly handle non-standard issues as they arise including escalationsExcellent MS-Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and Visio skillsDesirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:Previous data management experience in a similar roleExperience in corporate and/or investment bankingExperience of working with distributed teams.Interested candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
