My financial client are currently looking for a Oracle Solutions Architect to join to start on a 6 months contract based in either Brisbane or Sydney CBD. The business is currently going through an Oracle upgrade Project which is likely to run for 12 - 24 months starting ASAP. Oracle Upgrade Project Description: As-Is upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2.8 , primarily technical focusedUpgrade includes a change of data centre and some connectivity to Oracle cloudThere are multiple key parties involved in the project. i.e. Oracle Implementation partner and offshore BAU support partnersThere will be multiple interactions with internal technical and business representatives Skills needed for this role: Must have strong recent experience with a Oracle Finance platform upgrade with the 12.x versionsMust have good understanding of technical integrations to Oracle cloud including authentication methodologyExperience working with Oracle service providers and experience with the Oracle way of working i.e. AIM (Oracle Application Implementation Methodology) will be highly regardedMust have excellent architecture documentation skillsExperience with TOGAF and project AGILE delivery methods will be highly regardedMust have excellent communication skills and work well in a multi-disciplinary teamMust be a proactive worker and be confident to question design decision and provide constructive alternatives based on deep understanding of the involved technologiesMust have broad knowledge and experience of IT technology i.e. technologies outside of Finance specific for example; network & infrastructure, security and authentication If you are interested in this role please apply ASAP as interviewers for this role will commence straight away.
