Jnr Product Manager (Telecommunications) - West London

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Spring Technology is currently working in partnership with an internationally renowned technology manufacturer to recruit a Jnr Product Manager based in West London.

We are looking for someone with a good technical background with mobile networks experience, who would like to progress their career to a Jnr Product Manager.

As the Jnr Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing a product line, liaising with the European Business Units and all partners and stakeholders. Flexibility to your approach to working is highly required as the role is not strictly defined as a product manager and you will need to be able to wear different hats, i.e. being involved in Testing, Account Management, Business Development etc etc.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to transition from a technical engineer to a Product Manager.

Responsibilities:

*Product Line Management for responsible models, interacting with all partners and stakeholders.

*Work with European Business Units to consolidate mindshare and collaborate activities while promoting and ensuring the European Headquarters execution.

*Collect the relevant Market information concerning Networking and assigned product classes.

*Coordinate internal resource allocation and feasibility studies for potential projects with global headquarters.

*Visit potential and existing customers to capture sales opportunities and analyse customers' needs

*Develop B2C market and channel in EU

*Preparations of report and market analysis to ensure pricing models are maintained.

*Evaluate company capabilities to meet customer needs.

*Lead tender proposal and relevant documents preparation based on customers' request for proposals.

*Determine project scope together/technical and project management departments based on an understanding of customers' requirements and submit the tender proposal

*Responsible for the open market revenue and profit target for EU

Requirements:

*Knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry - (ideally within a Tier one telecom or major operators)

*Strong experience with TCP/IP - preferably CCNA certified

*Excellent Knowledge and understanding of telecommunications operators

*Good project management skills.

*Strong technical understanding of Networking related or Mobile Broadband technologies

*Good networking and relationship management skills, target driven and results focused.

*Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics or computer science
