As part of this growth, they are embarking on a large-scale IT recruitment project, and are looking to hire an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Manager to their team to take responsibility for IT Infrastructure Operations at their Derby headquarters.Client DetailsMichael Page are now partnered exclusively on a large-scale IT recruitment project for one of Europe's largest transport providers.The business has expanded significantly in recent years, and is now investing heavily across a range of it's core functions, including Technology.Due to this investment, they are now looking to hire several roles within their Infrastructure team, including a Senior IT Infrastructure Manager vacancy.DescriptionAs the Senior IT Infrastructure Manager, you will take responsibility for IT Infrastructure from an Operational perspective, managing a small team of 3rd Line Engineers, within a large-scale, enterprise-level environment.You will work within a largely Microsoft and Cisco environment, covering core server and networking infrastructure support to the company's end-users, of which there are over 2,000.In addition to the BAU responsibilities, you will be joining a business that is going through large transformation, so you will get the chance to be heavily involved in exciting projects, such as cloud migrations into Microsoft Azure, and office relocations of WAN networks.Whilst the role has significant operational elements from a technical side, you will be operating in an ITIL environment, where maintaining Service Delivery standards will be central.ProfileAs the successful candidate for the Senior IT Infrastructure Manager vacancy, you will be experienced in the following areas:People management of an IT Infrastructure function, including 3rd Line.Microsoft stack - Windows Server, Active Directory, Office365, Azure, including hands-on technical expertise.Enterprise-level exposure across WAN.ITIL.Prince 2 and/or Agile methodologies.Job Offer£50,000 - £60,000 + corporate benefits.
