AWS Architect - 6 months - LondonOur client, a leading Software Company that specialise in Digital Transformation are looking for an AWS Architect for an initial 6 month period to kick off a Greenfield project based in London. Must Have: * Strong experience designing, leading and coaching others on AWS best practices, solutions and services, to include significant hands-on experience* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework to validate solution/architecture * Strong understanding of different architectural designs for scaling a large multi-tier application * Strong understanding of core AWS services and AWS architecture best practices* Experience in building AWS Landing Zone architecture* Must have strong experience in architecting and migrating large scale applications to AWS, as well as Disaster Recovery solutions* Must have strong experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines* Must have strong experience in automating infrastructure build on AWS* Very good Experience with AWSVPC/Route53/Security/S3/EC2/IAM/Networking/AMI/billing/Account management/Cloudfront/RDS/EBS/tagging/EKS/CodePipeline * Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Data Dog, container health management tools and cost management tools like Cloudability * Strong hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet * In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language * AWS DevOps and Certified Solutions Architect - Professional is preferred Skills & Qualifications:* 5+ years of software engineering experience * 5+ years of DevOps experience * Experience in implementing security and governance on AWS * Experience with application discovery and migration wave planning * Experience driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation * Hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or current hands on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience If this position looks of interest, please reach out ASAP on the contact details below.
