Senior Developer/Team Lead - Derby - (£42,000 - £50,000)If you are a .NET Developer looking for a new opportunity, this could be the role for you!The organisation in question are based in Derby (Hilton) and they are keen to recruit experienced Software Developers, ideally with that hybrid mix of technical skills and leadership/client facing qualitiesThe roles are 'full stack' and they are keen to speak to applicants with a background in Microsoft .NET technologies. All applicants must have experience of building web applications in ASP.NET using either VB.Net or C#, have worked in a senior role such as team lead, technical lead or senior developer.Please note: VB.NET will be required to be used in the short to mid-term, however candidates with only C# experience are equally desirable as the experience is transferrable. Future projects will provide the opportunity to work in this or other languages in the longer-term.What will you be doing?You will be part of a small, agile team of software engineers in Derby, UK to deliver high quality software.You will be working with the Development Manager, Product Manager and Architects to define deliveries and work within schedule.Support software engineers on the team with guidance, experience, oversight, advice, and code reviews.Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the software is fully unit tested, can be performance tested, and passes the companies quality requirements.Regularly participate in development meetings, and occasionally participate in department meetings.In return, you will benefit from an above market-rate salary (£42,000 - £50,000), varied benefits package and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in an Agile environment.
