Location: ManchesterRate: £450-500 per dayLength: 3 months initially My client require and experienced Information Security Engineer to join their business on an initial 3 month contract, They are a rapidly growing Fintech business based in the centre of Manchester. There is an immediate requirement to review security processes and procedures across the business and the development operations (DevOps) / Network environments. Responsibilities: Review all security processes currently in place and associated security vulnerabilitiesReview DevOps processes including automation (CI/CD ETC)Advise on risk assessment, relevant mitigation and improvements to current practice and processesWork with 3rd parties and suppliers to ensure delivery of security solutions Skills/Experience: Substantial experience in an Information Security Engineer role covering DevOps functionsSpecific expertise in reviewing security processes for software development and DevOps functionsKnowledge of Cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure)Good understanding of threat detection, incident response along with vulnerability scanning remediationExperience with ethical hacking My client is looking for a well-rounded security engineer with a keen eye for details.
