Do you want a diverse role developing bespoke technology for lucrative and exciting industries?Established 70 years ago this company specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke equipment for applications within lucrative industries. This highly acclaimed industry leader now require a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in the Research and Development of new and existing products maximising expansion plans.In this role you will need to be creative; seeing design projects through to manufacture optimising mechanical systems and prototypes. Other duties will include producing detailed schematics, fault finding within existing products and troubleshooting customer queries.The ideal candidate will be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who has undertaken design projects of mechanical instruments through to implementation. You will be a creative individual that enjoys thinking outside the box but also with an eye for detail and the ability to problem solve promptly prototype and manufacture issues. You must also be willing to occasionally provide offsite support overseeing installation of manufactured prototypes in the field.The Role:*Designing and detailing bespoke mechanical machinery systems with precision instruments.
*Assist sales pitches with creation of 3d models.
*Creation of BOM's and maintain technical records of design compliance.
