An MIS Manager is required for our public sector client based in Manchester for an initial 3 month contract. Our client is looking for someone who has management experience in the FE sector, with specific reference to the submission of statutory returns to the Education and Skills Funding Agency and other funders, experience of developing the use of systems e.g. Tribals EBS student record system. Experience of generating/writing performance reports from either base data or reporting tools such as pro achieve. Additionally it would be beneficial of having some experience with compliance audits and OFSTED data requirements. The Performance and MIS Manager will:* Operationally manage MAES Management Information System and ensure the production of accurate and timely learner data for all service funding and data returns.* Provide a high quality, customer focused, specialist performance and management service which enables the delivery of organisational objectives* Provide a high quality service to customers in line with internal guidelines, policies and procedures and statutory requirements* Ensure that appropriate technology, processes, equipment and business support systems are in place and lead in the development, design and review of appropriate supporting policies and procedures.* Support the Development and Implementation of the Service Quality Improvement plan to assure a high quality citywide service is delivered to MAES Learners* Project manage the development and growth of the Service MIS system.
