Senior Software Developer / Engineer (Java Spring TDD Hibernate SCRUM CI/CD). Are you a process-minded, accomplished Software Developer looking for an opportunity to take ownership of processes across the whole development life cycle?

An international courier company is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Developer to work alongside their Technical and Developer Team and Head of IT, to support them in developing their key products.

The company works in a truly Agile, highly collaborative way with Test Driven Development at its core. So, from building sprints with the head of IT to producing high quality, maintainable code - you will be working towards upholding the pace of development with frequent releases per week and will have the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects.

As a Senior Software Developer you will gather key internal business requirements, liaising with clients to formulate and propose solutions through to delivery. You will be granted the autonomy to influence development as you see fit, so this is a fantastic position for someone wanting to make their mark on a business as it grows.

Requirements:

You have Java experience (they're using Java 11) and Spring framework, (ideally Spring 5.2)

You've worked with Test Driven Development

You're familiar with SCRUM practices, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

You thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment

You have experience with related technologies, such as Tomcat, Jenkins, SVN, Jira or STS

Desirable: experience in Hibernate / JPA, Cucumber, Maven or Struts

As a Senior Software Developer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £80k, multiple roles available) plus benefits including flexible working around the core hours. You'll be based at offices close to Heathrow with onsite parking available.
