Policing London is a more complex task than ever. And today's criminals are more technically advanced than ever. Advanced encryption and concealment tech is now available to the most users. So to combat these threats, digital innovation is essential. That's where our Technical Innovation and Development Environment (TIDE) comes in. As part of the Counter Terrorism Command, TIDE provides tactical and strategic solutions.

As a Digital Specialist, you'll collaborate with other software, hardware and cyber specialists. You'll work together to integrate new services, infrastructure or applications. This will sometimes involve incorporating tactical development of solutions. You'll also provide a rapid response to national projects and work on longer-term subjects. Alongside this, you'll keep up to date with new technologies, devices and user habits. It'll help us to prepare for emerging problems and innovations, and support counter-terrorism operations.

To join us, you'll need to be capable of undertaking tasks in RF systems and technologies, hardware reverse engineering, data recovery, software development or data science. As a confident communicator, you'll foster great working relationships and get the best out of people. You'll also need to be passionate about protecting London and helping to bring perpetrators to justice.
