Application Service Delivery Manager

As a highly successful and preferred recruitment partner to this well-established Financial Services Group, we have been instructed to assist in the hire of an Application Support Manager (although better described as an Application focused Service Delivery Manager) to join them out of their Newcastle office to take responsibility for service delivery around financial software that is in use by over 7000 internal users across the business.

You will be required to manage three significant third party applications and the associated delivery from the third party vendors. As Application Service Delivery Manager, you will also manage a small internal team and work with your two direct reports (Test Manager and Release Manager) to successfully deliver and support the applications.

Role Overview

-Owning the delivery of three third party applications; Xplan, CommPay and WorkSmart

-Vendor Management of the third-party software providers

-Managing a small internal team with two direct reports

-Conducting performance monitoring

-Administering and ensuring change control

Skills and Experience

-Working with third party applications and software providers

-Managing a small team with two direct reports

-Ideally, experience working with financial software/applications

-Ideally, a background working in FinTech / Financial Services sector

-Knowledge of Xplan, CommPay, WorkSmart beneficial
