Operational Resilience and Technology Risk VP

£90k base salary + bonus + comprehensive benefits

As an approved recruitment partner of several years to this international banking group we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Operational Resilience and Technology Risk VP.

This role sits within the Operational Risk Management team. This team is responsible for running the Operational Risk Management Policy Framework and for carrying out oversight activities across the EMEA. This team deliver Second Line of Defence activities for IT Risk & Cyber Security. The key experience we are looking for is Operational Resilience candidates from any sector.

Assist with the design, build and implementation of a Technology Risk and Operational Resilience framework working in conjunction with the First Line teams

The Head of Operational Risk for EMEA is seeking to enhance the organisation's Technology Risk and Cyber Security framework and capabilities to ensure the firm remains appropriately protected in the evolving threat landscape and enable ORMD to provide appropriate input and oversight of the organisation's operational resilience preparations.

You will assist with the development of the organisations Second Line of Defence (policies, procedures, and controls) to manage Technology / IT risk, including Information Security and Cyber risks across the EMEA region, in line with regulatory requirements.

Key skills / Environment:

Operational resilience - extensive experience

CISSP or equivalent

Information Security / InfoSec processes and application.

Cyber Security / CyberSec processes and application.

Information assurance

Regulatory landscape awareness

Technical and functional knowledge

Large scale financial services sector experience.
