Data Scientist - Edinburgh - £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience My client based in Edinburgh is looking for a Data Scientist to join the Data Science practice and work with the rest of the Data Science team on the development, test and implementation of predictive models. You will get to work in one of the best financial organisations in Scotland and get exposure to great projects utilising the latest Cloud and Machine Learning technologies. Responsibilities:You will work closely with stakeholders to gather their requirements and provide analytical solutions for them.You will use your knowledge of Data Science to make sure the right tools for the job are being used and mentor junior team members.You will be involved with the other areas of the business to provide support in the Analytics spaceYou will apply Data Science techniques and build predictive models to make business decisions.Experience:Experience with SAS and at least 2 years as a Data ScientistExperience with Machine Learning and Modelling techniquesOpenSource and Cloud experience beneficialExperience with R or Python
