About the Role We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing sales function. In this role you will drive new logos to grow our sales pipeline. The main focus of this role will be to bring in new customers to Sogeti UK. You will be responsible for various new business building activities, typically: Driving new business / new logos in Sogeti UK, from your contacts in the Test & QA market. Development of winning propositions and solutions to meet client needs, across all of Sogeti's delivery capabilities and ultimately bringing new customers to Sogeti UK. Leading new business written proposals, bids and client presentations to win new customers. Reviewing, analysing, and responding to tender documentation and customer's procurement. Driving new business in existing accounts. As you develop, you will build up a broad base of knowledge for your future with us. Across all of these areas you will be expected to use your initiative and drive to produce successful results and it goes without saying that team-working will be crucial to your success. Essential for the Business Development Manager to have: Demonstrable experience of holding a successful new business development focused role. Including attracting new customers / logos into your company's portfolio. Previous experience in an IT or Test consultancy, in a new business development role. Experience of successfully hitting new business targets over a considerable period of time. Good commercial knowledge for making T&M (Time & Material) / fixed Price / managed services deals. Strong experience in networking and developing new customer relationships. Experience of working with a global delivery model - offshore is a big positive. The ability to work own proposals, presentations, articulation of value to prospects. Knowledge of using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce. The successful candidate will be: A self-starting individual and able to set and manage goals. Passionate for knowledge, as this is a fast paced, constantly evolving technology market. A strong, honest communicator who possesses excellent oral, listening and written skills. Eager to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Able to demonstrate consultative behaviour.
