I am currently working with one of my key clients in Cork, on an exciting contract opportunity. The company are a global medical device company, specialising in the manufacture of a broad range of products including stents and inflation devices. The company have also been awarded for having an excellent culture onsite. Title: Quality EngineerLocation: CorkContract: An initial 12 month hourly rate contract Your role as a Quality Engineer will be to provide expert QA support to the New Product Introduction team onsite. You will also work with the New Product Introduction team to ensure products are launched in a timely manner, and ensure that operational goals and objectives are achieved. Responsibilities:Drive risk reduction and eliminate risk, through Continuous Improvement.Review and approve all process validation and test method validation documentation.Ensure all CAPAs and non - conformances are completed in a timely manner.Support the internal audit program.Ensure regulatory compliance in area of responsibility to cGMPs of all medical device Regulatory agencies.Provide functional expertise to other support functions on quality related issues. Requirements:Degree in Engineering / Science Disciplines2+ years experience as a Quality Engineer within the medical device industry.Previous experience working to ISO13485:2016 standards.
