They have expanded rapidly over the last few years and have plans to continue this growth by bringing in a Design Engineer to work on products from research through to initial prototype.

In this varied role you will be responsible for full life cycle design of small scale, intricate electro-mechanical products. Liaising with other design engineers and departments you'll create concept designs, produce detailed drawings and apply engineering techniques to ensure products meet standards and specifications.

The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong knowledge of both 2D & 3D design packages and be looking to join a cutting-edge company that will provide industry training and development.

The Role:

* Mechanical Design Engineer

* Full life cycle mechanical design of cutting-edge products

* Small scale design of intricate plastic/metal mechanisms and parts

* Concept design and detailed drawings using 2D & 3D design packages

* Working with design team and other departments to ensure designs meet specs and standards

* Integration of various manufacturing processes

* £40'000 - £45'000 + Training + Development + Private Healthcare

The Person:

* Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer

* Small scale design work (assemblies/parts/mechanisms)
