My client based in Manchester are looking for an Azure Consultant on an initial 6 month contract.

You will be working on a number of cloud orientated projects for the large scale organisation. You will be delivering solutions such as

* Deliver clustered firewalls in Azure

* Design migration of on premise estate to Azure and proof of concept

* Define model for Azure tenancy, including subscriptions and enterprise enrolment

* Define architecture to support DevOps programmes within university

* Define strategy to migrate databases to Azure with security

* Design Azure connectivity support internet, on premise and remote clients

* Define approach to improve Azure security and cost management

You must have

* Extensive hands-on design and implementation experience

* A wide ranging infrastructure exposure, including as many of the following as possible:

- Provision of infrastructure for business applications

- Digital solutions

- Cloud delivery - Microsoft Azure infrastructure and costing

- Network design

- Servers and storage

- Provision of infrastructure for databases - SQL and Oracle

- Operations

- Application service environment

- Web app, API and function hosting

- Azure Application Gateway

- API Management Services

- VPN and Firewall experience

* Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments including on premises legacy systems (*nix / Windows / Citrix / SQL / Oracle)

* Project solution architecture experience

* Experience with Azure infrastructure such as Account structures e.g. (subscription, tenant), Azure Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Domain Services, Service Principles, RBAC, IAM.

* Azure Arm Template scripting and management through Azure DevOps

* Express route configuration and management

* Ability to take a flexible approach to design with limited defined as is architecture and NFR's

* Ability to ensure architecture designs follow internal standards
