I am currently looking for two project engineer's to work on a key UK infrastructure project: Project Engineer Contract Length: 8 Months The ideal candidate will have experience with: Valves and Actuators.Hydraulics.Instrumentation.Knowledge of Controls interfaces.Knowledge of Structural/fabrication disciplines. The role requires the Engineer to: Liaise with Consulting Designers and stakeholders to provide practical technical advice to concept and finalised designs.Evaluate suppliers/sub-contractors technical competency.Compile detailed documents and summarise specification and QA requirements for purchasing.Act as focal point for the contractor in managing the suppliers, sub-contractors and interacting with the Designers through full cycle.Provide detailed input to planning.Establish the technical quality requirements required within the ITP's.Manage the technical aspects of the package from start to Site Acceptance Testing.Champion a Right First Time approach to quality and stress the importance of validation. Ideally the potential candidate will demonstrate exposure to and a solid understanding of quality, attention to detail and LTQR validation requirements of high integrity and/or safety critical projects such as nuclear, aerospace or pharmaceutical.
