Stockport - Greater ManchesterOpportunity to work within a global, leading technology company offering the opportunity to take the lead in RF and Fibre Design whilst being recognised as a 'go to' technical expert in the UK part of the business.Do you have proven track record designing RF and RF-over-fibre products at board level? Do you have practical design experience in RF and electronic design?Based in Stevenage in Hertfordshire, our client is a world leading manufacturer who has multiple sites across the UK.Established over many ago, they are dominating their marketing through acquisitions and investment into technology! Whilst being recognised as a market leader this business still retains its close knit culture and promotes personal career development, flexible working and work life balance!This is a product design role which requires a highly skilled and motivated Engineer, who will be designing RF and RF-over-fibre products at board level with minimum supervision.

Key areas include; Creating Design Specifications for new designs, interacting with other development team members, producing and maintaining test documentation associated with products and Perform technical investigations to provide data for problem assessment.

There will also be a travelling aspect where you will be attending manufacturing facilities and overseeing projects.

The Role:* Senior RF & Fibre Design Engineer

* Design new and innovative RF and RF-over-fibre products

* Interact with other development team members

* Perform technical investigations

* Create Design Specifications for new designs

The Person;* Track record of designing RF and RF-over-fibre products at board level

* have practical design experience in RF and electronic design

* Looking to take on projects and train others

* Electronic qualification
