Regional Logistics Coordinator £12 - £15.90 per hour (dependant on experience) Amersham, UK Initial 12 Months Regional Logistics Specialist:You will report to the Service Delivery Manager for UK and Ireland, and be part of a team of logistics specialists working within a large customer service centre. Our customers are hospitals and other health care providers, needing service on their faulty medical equipment, from ECG monitors through to MRI scanners. Every day we log hundreds of equipment breakdowns, and work together to seamlessly provide technical support, schedule Field Engineer visits, and deliver spare parts into our Field Engineers' hands from our global network of warehouses.The Regional Logistics Specialist needs to gain an understanding of our complex logistics ecosystem, in order to facilitate the right spare part being delivered to the right place at the right time. They will track parts in order to identify and mitigate delivery failures in time to minimise disruption to our customers. They will work closely with our Global Service Parts Organisation to fulfil part back orders, escalate part availability issues, and report the outcome to stakeholders within the business. They will also perform day-to-day logistics operations, such as inventory management, tracking shipments, loan tool management, and transacting with our warehousing and carrier partners. They will also contribute to the efficiency of the organisation by regular reporting of the on-time performance and value-for-money of our carriers. Essential characteristics:Excellent communication skills.Able to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, sometimes high-pressure environment.Experienced in MS Excel, Outlook and other common business applications.Relevant qualification or at least one year proven experience in a logistics role.A passion for providing a seamless service experience for customers in the Healthcare industry.A willingness to work flexibly. It may be required to shift working hours for early or late logistics operations coverage (only within the hours of 7am to 7pm). Desired characteristics:3 years' experience in a logistics role managing international shipments.Proven experience of working effectively in a large, complex organisation or team.
