Data Scientist (AI Python PHD AWS Machine Learning SQL). Are you an engaged, forward-thinking Data Scientist seeking a new challenge, in a company that has ambition to rival your own?

A position for a Data Scientist has opened at a technology-driven start-up that is dedicated to developing original, innovative technology aimed at sustainable food production. Through image recognition, machine learning and state-of-the-art algorithms, they are challenging the status quo and carving a unique path in a niche industry. 

In this Data Scientist role, you will work towards expanding the existing local image recognition software and computer vision models, using machine learning to promote efficiency in the existing architectures. Your Data Science expertise will be highly valued, as you will have the opportunity to contribute to new product ideas and prototype development from your own data insights.

This is a fantastic chance to take real ownership of your work and make an impact. You'll be joining a small, talented team at offices based in Richmond, with flexible working opportunities (up to two days a week at home) and a relaxed atmosphere.

Requirements:

You have Python development experience

You have AI experience, and experience with deep learning frameworks for CNN architectures, e.g. Tensorflow or Keras

You confidently understand cloud architectures; web technologies; SQL databases

You're comfortable navigating the fast-paced change of a start-up environment

You are a self-assured communicator, able to take initiative in independent work as well as having strong collaborative skills

As a Data Scientist you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £60k) plus benefits, including share options.
