This role requires a high calibre Information Security Manager implement the function and set-up processes where applicable.The successful candidate will work across the business to identify where the organisation sits in terms of ISO27001 compliance and the risks associated with non-compliance.Client DetailsOur client is a leading East-Midlands based service provider providing services UK wide. Part of a larger organisation, they are about to undergo a major IT change programme of which this role will form a critical part.DescriptionTo be the key driver of the design, delivery and embedding of the information security aspects of the IT strategy.Provide objective assurance as to the adequacy and effectiveness of IT risk management, control and governance processes by contributing to the delivery of a professional risk-based internal audit and compliance service.Working in partnership with the wider group and company management to identify and evaluate IT and data risks and support the development of effective practical solutions to any issues arising.Provide advice and guidance to directors, management and staff at all levels in IT risk, control, compliance and governance issues.In the first instance this role will be accountable for completing a gap analysis of where the organisation currently sits in regard to ISO 27001 compliance and the associated risks and designing a roadmap to achieve compliance. ProfileSignificant experience in a similar role with a robust portfolio of Information Security achievementsExperience of implementing ISO 27001 / CISO standards in a rapidly changing organisation.ITIL V3 certification or similar.Experience of managing and reporting on PCI DSS.IT security audit experience desirable.
