Your role
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to engage with cutting-edge web technologies and, to expand their experience in Legal and Financial sectors with a rapidly growing company which see IT as an essential part of the business to sustain its continued growth.
The candidate will work within the IT development team creating new web-apps and automated systems and extending capabilities on existing systems to help drive improvements across the business. The candidate will be participating in a Scrum team and so it is important that they can understand requirements, communicate effectively and honestly with the team and manage their time effectively.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Develop new web applications for internal and external use using ASP.net and VueJSCreate and support APIs utilising RESTMaintain applications and ensure their continued function.Extend and advance existing applications and websites with new features and requirements.Responsible for adhering to and maintaining proper data protection throughout all project and applications.Able to keep up with new trends in technology and practices.Engage effectively in a Scrum teamSupport the team with best practices and well-structured code
Experience and Qualities:
Experienced and confident with JavaScript Frameworks (ReactJs/VueJs)Experienced and confident with ASP.Net and ASP.Net Core (C#)Experienced and confident with ORMs (Entity Framework)Understanding and application of principles such as SOLIDEager to learn and develop with new technologies.Proactive approach to problem solvingSolid organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.Awareness and implementation of current and changing design principles.
