Technical Communications SpecialistOur global client is urgently looking for an experienced Technical Communications Specialist to join their team based in Leeds, on a contract basis, initially for 6 months with a view to extend. The Technical Communications Specialist will responsible for delivering high quality information products that meet business needs for our client's Integrated Software. These information products include, but are not limited to, Online Help, Installation Guides and Release Notes.Technical Communications Specialist - Key Skills:

'€¢Master's or Bachelor's in Technical Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, English, Journalism, Education, or Training'€¢Proficient writing and editing skills'€¢Knowledge of technical communications standards (Microsoft Writing Styleguide, Chicago Manual of Style, DQTI, Simplified Technical English)'€¢Displays a positive and ‘can do' attitude'€¢Collaborates with team, managers and stakeholders'€¢Works well individually and meets deadlines'€¢Learns quickly new skills and adapts to processes'€¢Experience in creating documentation in technical discipline (preferably software)'€¢Experience with Microsoft Office or any other authoring tools'€¢Experience with a content management system (file management, versioning, etc.)'€¢HTML / CSS knowledge (preferred but not must have)'€¢Knowledge of the DITA framework (preferred but not must have)'€¢Knowledge of basic project management and agile software development methodologies'€¢Graphics capture basic editing knowledge
