Applications are invited for an experienced Linux Systems Developer who is seeking to expand their skills in High Performance Computing or an experienced HPC Systems Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Research and Specialist Computing IT services for the University, which includes a wide variety of development tasks including systems design, systems configuration, testing, migration and training. The total capacity of the HPC facility at the University exceeds 9000 computational cores.

You will have an IT-related degree or equivalent qualification or experience within a directly relevant role or equivalent experience of Linux systems development.  Expert experience of managing Unix/Linux based servers, including security, resilience and networking, together with strong negotiation and analytic and problem solving skills are also essential.
