SQL Server DBA
A City of London client is in need of an excellent SQL Server DBA with experience across BAU, SQL Server 2014/2016 and ideally SQL Always On.
The company is a leading market regulations agency based in East-Central London.
The SQL Server DBA will be working closely within project teams as well as BAU and will be responsible for the continual improvement of all of the companys SQL database estate working in a real-time, high availability environment.
You must have substantial experience of providing strong operational support, troubleshooting, management and administration of SQL platforms and technologies such as:
* Replication,
* Clustering,
* Mirroring or Log shipping.
A deep knowledge of Transactional Databases and also Data Warehouses is also highly beneficial. You must maintain high standards of quality assurance, have the ability to compile accurate technical documentation and have highly developed skills in:
* DR technologies
* Indexing strategies
* security management
* T-SQL
* PowerShell.
