Trading Analyst - LONDON - £300 - £400 - 4 monthsTrading Analyst - LONDON - £300 - £400 - 4 months The work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 4 months contract.The pay rate on offer is between £300 - £400 per day.The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.Key accountabilities of the role include:Reporting to the Head of Media Channels, you will be a key point of contact for the team. You will be responsible for producing performance marketing channel insights and reports to ensure we are delivering best-in-class results, using best-in-class techniques.You will:Support on marketing channel performance, both weekly standard reporting, and ongoing deep dives to solve business challengesWeekly reporting requires an early Monday morning start to have reporting available in time for Trading cycle at 8am (or alternatively some working from home on Sunday)Develop and maintain key standard reports and dashboardsReport on daily, weekly and quarterly performance of our performance marketing channelsBe a key point of contact for our trading teams across both dotcom and marketing for ad hoc requestsProvide support for our Business Units by reporting on specific performanceSupport individual channel teams to uncover success drivers - promotional impacts, underlying traffic trendsDeliver competitor monitoring and benchmarking related to media spendSupport our monthly, quarterly and campaign review process and analysis, and share findings as appropriate with key stakeholders You will also provide support with:Conversion funnelsAttributionOmnitureTesting data and frameworksTechnical help + team educationKey experience and skillsYou are keen to re-define the area where the art of marketing meets the science of data, to help us to acquire new customers and deliver against challenging business KPIs. You are curious, with a true passion for data, a desire to constantly learn and improve yourself, and a proactive mindset. You need to be personable and be able to turn large and complex datasets into a set of comprehensible reports and insights. Your skills and experience will include:at least 1 years' experience reporting in performance marketing channels environment including CRM, PPC, and Social MediaUnderstanding of the different characteristics of the channels - paid and organic search, display, affiliate, email traffic, direct traffic, apps etcExperience gained in a retail or e-commerce environmentExpert in Adobe Omniture (GA360 experience a bonus)Good knowledge of traffic tracking technologies, and the challenges and opportunities presentedHighly numerate, a master of Excel and proficient in data visualisation using Excel (Power BI experience a bonus)Ability to communicate ideas clearly, effectively, persuasively to an individual or a group.Ability to prioritise multiple requests against commercial impacts, and firm expectation management skillsIndependent self-starter, confident to plan and prioritise, but able to request support where necessaryGenuine team-playing skills and commitment to a great working environment
