Our client is looking for an End User Computing Engineer who is experienced in transforming the support undertaken by IT Operations across a range of End User Computing initiatives. The role will be part of the Service Transformation team and there will be exposure across a range of hardware and software systems. You will be responsible for building, configuring and maintaining products which ensure that support is continually improved through increased automation and leveraging value from adopted tools. The role will require knowledge transfer to a variety of engineers and also interaction with end users. The duties will include:Assisting the End User Computing Manager in developing and transforming all aspects of the EUC offering; tools, people, process, and informationAssisting in designing improved support processesReviewing new products and tools that can be utilised by the Operations teamUndertaking detailed configuration of application and toolsConstructing efficient workflows that enable increasing levels of automation and orchestrationAssisting in providing effective Management ReportingProvide ongoing maintenance and continual improvement of applicationsSupporting our IT Development process in the provision of new and improved products and servicesContribute to Operations led projects, providing input into service and support needsAssist in the analysis of the support requirements of the business and undertaking evaluationsKeeping up to date with changed and advances in the IT industry and systems development arenasThe right candidate will be an experienced, hands on engineer with an interest in transforming IT support through technology. The candidate will be happy in configuring systems and identifying new opportunities to maximum automation and orchestration wherever possible.
