Now operating through several hundred countries they unite fitness fanatics worldwide.Due to expediential growth they are now setting up a Technology division in the UK and are building a team of experienced, high calibre, passionate individuals.This is an exciting role for an experienced Production Manager to join an inventive company in a challenging role at a very exciting time in the company's growth.The Role:Managing production and manufacture of all products (Consumer goods)Setting up and maintaining a world class ERP/MRP systemMaintaining production BOMsManaging the transition of products from Engineering into manufactureIn liaison with the chosen manufacturing partner, set up manufacturing processes and controls whilst assuring Quality in manufacture and supply chainProduction planningManaging suppliers & manage continuous improvement processes with partners and suppliersEnsuring all products are designed according to good DFM practicesCarrying out appropriate FMEAsAdvise designers regarding product lifetime and reliabilitySustaining products in production, investigating and correcting quality issuesCarrying out cost reduction programmes within the business and partnersThe Person:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent disciplineMaster's degree in manufacturing or production engineeringAt least 7 years general engineering and manufacturing experienceExtensive knowledge of modern manufacturing and prototyping techniques methods and processes, such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S.CAD and/or product design experience (desirable)This role is for an immediate start, to apply for this role please send an up-to-date CV ASAP to Sarah Hibberd at Rise Technical Recruitment.
