Graduate Developer Dartford to £25kOur client is expanding its web development team and requires a Front-end web developer to join its web programming department. Working within an established team of front-end developers and designers, the Graduate Developer role involves bringing website design ideas to life. The successful Graduate Developer will enjoy coding and always look to keep up-to-date with current standards (especially CSS / JavaScript) and practices in your field. Ideal Graduate Developer candidates will have a minimum of 1 year’s commercial experience or similar in a front-end coding position.Graduate Developer Requirements
- Willingness to learn in a fast paced working environment
- The ability to code designs supplied by our design studio, from flat design files, usually created with photoshop or Sketch
- Working knowledge and good understanding of current accessibility and usability guidelines
- Excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Ability to produce clean, smart, cross-browser compatible code that can, when required, work across multiple devices
- MySQL experience
- Very strong attention to detail - pixel perfection required!Other skills that would be advantageous but not necessary: - Experience with Sketch Design Tool - Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator experience - Skills in XML, AJAX, jQuery
