One of my clients in Edinburgh are looking for an IT officer for 1 month, with the potential to extend to 9 months….Day rate: £130-£160The role will involve:Management of availability and provision of all IT functions, infrastructure and equipmentMain contact for external contractors/suppliers in relation to IT/Telephony issuesManagement of hardware/software asset registerMain POC for software packages2nd line supportLiaising with outsourced IT/Telephony contractorsThe production and running of management reportsEnsure security for supporter, transactional and financial data, employing a variety of industry standard protection techniquesWorkstation assessmentsHealth and safety IT representativeMaintenance of IT inventoryMonitor Compliance The ideal candidate will have:Excellent IT skillsMinimum of 2 years within an IT departmentExperience of supplier managementTeam working abilitiesExcellent communicatorExperience in Office 365 and SharePoint
