Cloud Architect (Azure .Net CI/CD DevOps). Are you a senior technologist seeking a role where you can make a real impact? You could be joining a global FinTech and taking ownership as they migrate from an on-premise solution to a Cloud (Azure) based SaaS.

Partnering with Product Management stakeholders you will define and execute the technical strategy and evangelise best practice around advanced SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for converting strategy into an implementation plan; defining system architecture backlog supporting the strategy and ensuring components from this backlog are incorporated as part of each release cycle; you will lead the definition of major architectural aspects and support software development teams in the definition of more detailed designs. You'll rapidly build proof of concepts to address strategic product or technology challenges and provide continuous oversight across applications and Scrum teams.

You will be based in Reigate in modern, open plan offices within a five minute walk of the station; there's a smart casual dress code and a good work / life balance.

Requirements:

Experience of architecting Cloud based SaaS systems

Strong software engineering background with the Microsoft .Net technology stack (C#, ASP.Net, WPF) and web based technologies (REST APIs, HTML/CSS, Angular, React)

Thorough understanding of software engineering principles such as Object Orientated Programming, Design Patterns, SOLID principles

Good appreciation of DevOps environments / tooling e.g. Docker Containerisation, Kubernetes, Service Fabric, Azure DevOps

Good knowledge of database technologies: SQL Server

Collaborative and pragmatic
